Flowers are in bloom.

So those bulbs I planted back in November started blooming about 3 weeks ago. It is nice to look at the flowers sprouting up out of the dead leaves and remember where I was when we planted them (in the chemo haze) and where I am now (feeling renewed!) I think I got lucky with the timing, being able to hibernate through the chemo and emerging with the sun shining and the flowers blooming. Good idea Ma!

Congrats on getting through the process. I am going in for my pre chemo appointment this morning and thought Iwould check out your site drinking my last coffee for a while. I get my 4th round ( of 6) tomorrow morning. Did you get Taxotere? I am looking forward to my last treatment on May 4th. We are behind you guys weather wise up here so my tulip bulbs are just sprouting up, I bet the timing will be perfect for when I am done as well. Go spring go!

Hi Sandra- Thank you! I had 4 sessions of “TC” Taxotere and Cytoxan (no Adriamycin). Congrats to you on being way over the hump and heading quickly towards that last round on May 4. You will be looking at those flowers in no time and this will be a distant memory! You can do it! 🙂

Thanks! Taxotere is easier on me so far then the FEC protocole they call it in Canada (Fluoroucil, Epirubin and Cyclophosphamide) So far so better.
